BIO
Peter Vertacnik is an MFA student at The University of Florida. He holds degrees from Penn State and Texas Tech. His work has appeared recently in 32 Poems, The Hopkins Review, Literary Matters, The New Criterion, Poet Lore, THINK, Valparaiso Poetry Review, and Water~Stone Review, among others. He was a finalist for the 2021 Donald Justice Poetry Prize and the 2022 New Criterion Poetry Prize.
